The happiness I get from wedding photography comes not only from creating beautiful works of art, but also from contributing to the lives of others and experiencing their joy when they see their photographs.
I was born in Newcastle, Australia to a Marine Corps family while we were stationed there and I have lived all over the United States.
In high school, I was a part of the marching band (half-time is game-time!), and loved every minute. I eventually went on to perform with the Division I Drum Corps, the Crossmen, for three years (2002 – 2004). I had such a wonderful experience during my Drum Corps years; I made some life-long friends and had some awesome moments performing in front of crowds of over forty thousand people!
In June of 2006, I married my middle school sweetheart, Jodi. We actually met in the sixth grade, at Black Mountain Middle School in San Diego, when we shared the same desk but we were in that classroom at different times of the day. We would leave notes for each other in our shared desk everyday. By the end of middle school we were best friends. We eventually went to the same college in Virginia, and transferred our junior year back to Jodi’s hometown (and now my own!) of San Diego.
After graduating college, Jodi was accepted to the University of San Diego School of Law (she is currently in her third year) and I went full time with my wedding photography business. Though I am based in San Diego, my weddings have taken me to San Francisco, Florida, and even as far as Ireland!
Jodi is an avid scrapbooker and I enjoy playing the piano (when I'm not editing photos). We also love pampering our puppy, Teddy, and our cat, Mary.
