Jodi and I are in the process of archiving some old family photographs and we came across a picture taken in the early 1900s. It had some damage and I decided to scan it and restore it. When archiving your memories, always use acid-free and lignin-free materials. If it doesn’t not say “acid-free,” then it probably isn’t! Also, do not laminate your photos. You may make them extra durable, but you can not reverse the laminating process and most lamination pages are acidic.
