Today marks the one year anniversary of Jodi and I moving from Virginia to California! One year ago, we packed up our little car with everything we owned and drove 2,670 miles from Harrisonburg, Virginia to San Diego, California. We averaged 67 miles per hour on the freeway and spent $291.68 on 101 gallons of gas. We averaged 26.24 miles/gallon. The average price of gas was $2.87/gallon (yesterday gas was $3.44/gallon!). We made the trip in 39 hours and 27 minutes of freeway driving time. We stopped and saw the Carlsbad Caverns and Rosewell on the way. We had so much fun, we can’t wait to do it again! So here’s a picture of Teddy to commemorate the occasion!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Jodi and I went to the farmer’s market today. Teddy made some great friends with some other dogs and I got to hold a cockatiel just like the one I had when I was in middle school. Good memories, and good times! By the way, these are some pictures from our Honeymoon in Hawaii. I thought they were festive enough for Cinco de Mayo 🙂Read More » -
